Wildfires knocked Los Angeles down but community lifts it up

The streets were as quiet as a ghost town. As I rounded a corner, a shocking sight came into view. A chimney and a modern entryway were still standing, but the rest of the house was unrecognizable. It looked like a bomb had gone off.
