Newborn Monument was unveiled on Feb. 17, 2008, the day that Kosovo formally declared its independence from Serbia. The sculpture, located in front of the Palace of Youth and Sports, is repainted on the anniversary of the independence each year, and it has become a popular tourist attraction.
